Our next Craft at Home box invites one of Tom Colicchio's forever favorites into your home kitchen.
An ode to a young chef's time in Gascony, France this box features 2 ready to cook duck breasts, 2 confit duck legs, a side of slow-cooked cannellini beans, braised sweet & sour red cabbage and roasted Honeycrisp apples. Duck is one of Tom Colicchio's favorite things to cook & eat and after experiencing just how simple proper duck cookery can be we know it will be a favorite of yours too.
Each box serves 2-4 and will arrive at your doorstep fully prepared with just some simple cooking to complete. Only the duck breasts & the apples will need to be cooked. The rest of this meal will be prepared for you at CraftNYC & will only need to be reheated to serve. Please note: Promotional materials mention that the apples will come fully prepared. After additional recipe testing, Tom & our culinary team made the decision to provide you with full apples and instructions to ensure the best end product is achieved.
Chef Colicchio's adapted at home cooking/reheating instructions along with equipment recommendations are included in every order. We've even made his trusty Meater thermometer available here as an add on to help ensure that your duck breasts are cooked to absolute perfection.
Director of Beverage Programs, Natalie Grindstaff's perfect wine pairing is also available as an add on to your pickup order!

If we haven’t yet made you a Littorai fan on a past visit to Craft, let us introduce you to one of the greatest producers of Pinot Noir in the United States.
Ted and Heidi Lemon have been growing (biodynamic!) Pinot Noir & Chardonnay out on the West Sonoma Coast and Anderson Valley since 1993. Their wines are standard bearers for exceptional nuanced American Pinot Noir and show how expressive this grape can be when grown in the right place by the right hands. Seductive dark cherry & blackberry on the nose followed by spice box notes. A supple silky body with heady fruit and a lovely lift keep things fresh. Enough weight to hold up to the richness of the duck but brightness to balance it, the fruit and spice notes of this wine will complement the flavors of the duck and echo sweetness of the braised cabbage.
We bet you will become a lifelong Littorai fan too. Cheers!
Available for pickup at CraftNYC on Thursday, 1/28 thru Saturday, 1/30.
Must be 21+ to order.
